ARRIVAL -  Plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of your class. This will allow you to check in, put away any personnel items, check in with the teacher at the front desk and prepare your props. Class will begin promptly at the scheduled time.

QUIET SPACE - Other classes may be in session when you walk in the front door. Please enter quietly and be mindful while in our quiet space.


SHOES - Please take off your shoes upon entering the studio. Shoes can be stored in the cubbies underneath of the benches. We request that you do not walk across the studio floors in your shoes. If you have any issues with your feet and need to take the class with your shoes, contact Pati at We will make special accommodations for you.


PROPS -We have all the props available for your use. Thick mat cushions, bolsters, blocks, blankets, eye pillows, sand bags, neck pillows will be provided. However, feel free to bring your own extra comfort items if you prefer.


CELL PHONES - Please complete any phone calls before entering the studio. Also, please be sure to turn both the ringer and the vibration off on your phone. The vibration can be very disruptive to the students who have their mats placed near the purses and bags.


STUDENT ACCOUNT - If you are new to Center of Sound, please create a student account. This student account allows you to register for classes and workshops, as well as make purchases. Be sure to include both your email and phone number in your student account. Although it is rare for a class to be cancelled, occasionally it will snow or ice. If you are registered for a class that gets cancelled, it is easier to let you know about the cancellation if we have your contact information.

PRE-REGISTRATION - Pre-registration is required for our regularly scheduled classes and for all workshops. Pre-registration ensures you a spot. Many classes fill up and some have a waitlist. Workshops and classes require pre-payment. 


CLASS CANCELLATION - We must receive 24 hours notice in order to credit your Vagaro account for future use, if you are unable to make a class. 


WORKSHOP CANCELLATION - We understand that plans occasionally change and unanticipated circumstances sometimes arise. It is therefore necessary that we have consistent refund policies that are fair to you and the studio. Thank you for your support.
-For refund requests at least one month prior to the start of the event, you may request a refund less non-refundable deposit and 15%.
-For refund requests less than one month and more than 2 weeks prior to the start of the event, you may request a refund less non-refundable deposit and 50%.
-A credit to your Vagaro account will be given for cancellations less than two weeks to 72 hours prior to the event.

-Less than 72 hours notice prior to event, no refunds or credits will be given.

*If you do not show up for an event or class, no refunds or credits will be given.
No pro-rates, credits or transfers are available for any classes/days that you are absent or unable to attend without notice.

*Gift Certificates and Vagaro credits are not redeemable for cash payment
