The gong is a teacher - what it teaches cannot be written beforehand

In this training we will tune into a variety of  styles and sizes of gongs, each with their own “super-power.”  

 

• We will explore gong types /styles + uses; from small handheld styles to large up to 48”

• Gongs Include:  Burmese, Chinese Wind, Paiste Planet, Temple, Thai 

• Playing areas on the gong

• Techniques through various strokes

• Mallets: variety of sizes, styles including friction mallets - mallets produce interesting voices in the gong!

• Learn how to approach the gong with reverence and humility

Whether you are interested in a gong for home use or in a professional setting we have a beautiful assortment for you to learn and choose from.  All instruments included for use during training.

Pati shares teachings from her teachers, including the Gong Mastery Program with Don Conreaux.  Pati has been playing and using the gong for wellness since 2008.
